Kerryism - A statement that blatantly means one thing to everyone who hears it, but the person making the statement claims that it means something completely different. The person making the statement will normally defend the statement thus:

“You do not have the mental capacity to comprehend what I just articulated and it is beneath a person of my stature to even try to explain it to you.”
