My biggest pet peeve when it comes to movies is when an actor “acts” like he’s playing a musical instrument, but actually has no clue. That’s why I’m such a fan of “That Thing You Do“. These guys took a few weeks to learn the instruments before filming started and it really shows. Most of their performances may have been dubbed, but I bet their own couldn’t have been much worse.
