Decision 2008

glenn beck poll Recently, Glenn Beck held a hypothetical poll: if you had to vote today, who would you vote for. In a mythical three-party ballot, would you vote for Barack Obama, would you vote for John McCain or would you vote for George W. Bush? The results so far may be a bit surprising.

Personally, I would vote for and elect Dubya just to see the BDS-infected moonbats throw themselves off of cliffs in droves.

Kerryism – A statement that blatantly means one thing to everyone who hears it, but the person making the statement claims that it means something completely different. The person making the statement will normally defend the statement thus:

“You do not have the mental capacity to comprehend what I just articulated and it is beneath a person of my stature to even try to explain it to you.”

He was for the joke before he was against it.

You know education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, you do your homework, and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don’t you get stuck in Iraq. –Democrat Senator John Kerry

And the next day…

My statement yesterday, and the White House knows this full well, was a botched joke about the president and the president’s people, not about the troops… If anyone thinks that a veteran, someone like me who’s been fighting my entire career to provide for veterans to fight for their benefits, to help honor what their service is, if anybody thinks that a veteran would somehow criticize more than 140,000 troops fighting in Iraq and not the president and his people who put them there, they’re crazy.

Call me crazy then, THE WORDS SAY WHAT THEY SAY. Those words contain no mention of the Bush Administration. As a former Air Force F-15 crew chief, I am deeply insulted and would be no matter what side of the isle I’m behind. It’s also embarrassing to realize that this is the person who received 48% of the presidential vote two years ago.

Imagine the brewing shit storm if President Bush had made a “botched joke” along those lines.

(a blast from the past actually) This is from a well-known moonbat’s now defunct blog:

http://mommysheehan.blogspot.com/

Thousands of people have written asking, Cindy, what was your life like before you became the Duchess of Peace? Well, for many years, I was a hostess at the world-famous, beloved Nut Tree in Vacaville, CA, located on scenic interstate 80. People came from all over to use our sanitary facilities, browse our gift shoppe, & ride the legendary Nut Tree Railroad.

I remember one time the Queen of England came in for some tea, & the manager wanted to seat her entourage in our largest booth. It had a nice view of the Candy Kitchen, but I said “Rae, you CANNOT make the Queen slide into a booth! Especially in a skirt!” And the others agreed, because even then I had absolute moral authority.

Sadly, the Nut Tree closed in 1996, driven out of business by the low cost of Texas pecans. So you see, even then George Bush was destroying my life. God I hate him so!

It’s not clear whether the Mexican election, now certifying Felipe Calderon of the ruling conservative National Action Party (PAN), will turn into a crisis like America witnessed in Florida after the 2000 election.

Already the two elections have one thing in common: left-wingers are claiming George Bush stole the election.

And yes, that includes the Mexican election.

Three days before Mexicans went to the polls, London-based journalist and blogger Greg Palast, an American, wrote, “George Bush??s operatives have plans to jigger with the upcoming elections.”

Then on July 3, in an article titled “Grand Theft Mexico” that appeared on guardian.co.uk, Palast wrote this: “As in Florida in 2000, and as in Ohio in 2004, the exit polls show the voters voted for the progressive candidate. The race is too close to call. But they will call it ?? after they steal it.”

Palast says that the FBI, acting under the guise of counter-terrorism, had obtained Mexico’s voter files through a contract with information broker ChoicePoint, the database company whose list Jeb Bush used in 2000 to “scrub” voters from voter rolls.

“The disenfranchisement of these voters cost Al Gore the presidency,” declares Palast.

ChoicePoint of Alpharetta, Ga., says that it returned or destroyed its Mexican files when it learned that collecting voter information violated Mexican law.

Says Palast: “It’s impossible to know whether the FBI destroyed its own copy?or whether these were then used to illegally assist the Calderon candidacy.”

No matter, the word is out, Bush “Floridized” the Mexican election.
