The state-run media is experiencing derangement over Sarah Palin’s use of the word “reload”. So, if we are to play by those rules, football teams will no longer be able to claim that they are “reloading” in between seasons, right?

Earlier this year the Ypsilanti (Mi) Public School Board retired the high school’s Braves nickname and the logo depicting a male Indian with a mowhawk cut after complaints that it demeaned Native Americans, blah, blah, blah. The board also indicated that it would not choose a new name until October 22, meaning that the the football team will be nameless and mascot-less midway through the season.

Until that time, the following stickers have been ordered and will be placed on the team’s football helmets.
