Someone please tell me that this is a photoshop or that this candidate for President of the United States of America actually came to his senses just after this photo was snapped and placed his right hand over his heart. I doubt that the former is true, as this is a Time photo. I also doubt that the latter is true, as he doesn’t respect the flag enough to even wear one on his jacket lapel. And not wearing a flag pin is not an issue itself, its making a point of not wearing one that is.

What’s next? Will he remove the Red, White & Blue from his campaign materials?

(and someone please inform the four on the stage that, according to US Code, you are supposed to *face* the flag during the Pledge of Allegiance or the playing of the National Anthem)

Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Chandler police sergeant in the death of a K-9 left for more than 12 hours in a hot patrol car.

Sgt. Tom Lovejoy was booked Wednesday at 3 p.m. into an East Valley jail facility on suspicion of animal cruelty, a misdemeanor. He was released at 4:50 p.m. on his own recognizance.

A 40-year-old mother will not face charges after she accidentally left her 2-year-old daughter locked in a sweltering car for almost 8 hours.

The child was discovered by the woman’s co-workers who called 911 as they tried in vain to revive the little girl.

The temperature that day was close to 100 degrees. Inside the car, it was so hot, the baby’s skin was covered in blisters.

I’ve, for the most part, always been a blogger of few words (imagine that.) In this case, I can’t even think of anything fitting to say.

Back on August 28, I checked Accuweather’s 15 day forecast and although I realize that a 15 day forecast must be taken with a grain of salt, I was dancing around the room to see a forecast low of 62° for September 10!

A few days later, I check again and the forecast is back up to the low 70s. Glad I hadn’t put in my vacation request yet.
